The Beacon Baptist Church of Welland is an Indepedent Baptist church. We are not affiliated
with any denominations or fellowships. The church is a self governing body of saved,
scripturally baptized believers.
Beacon Baptist Church is fundamental in doctrines. That is, the church holds to the traditional
Baptist distinctive. The church holds to the teaching, preaching and living of the Word of
God. The Bible is our sole rule of faith and practise.
Beacon Baptist Church is traditional in its services. The church does NOT have a contemporary
service. Only good old fashioned hymns of the faith are sung for congregational singing.
Beacon Baptist Church believes that one of the main purposes of the church is for the edification
of believers and second to that is the seeking of lost souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Beacon Baptist Church stands on the King James version of the Bible for those speaking English.
No other version of scripture is used for teaching, preaching or public reading and publications.
